History

In 1996 Rick Rogers founded Fenestra, a research-driven software development company based in metropolitan Washington, DC Previously he worked for the Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA) and with the Washington Publishing Company (WPC). At WPC he served as technical lead manager on a large United States Census Bureau project and was able to transfer this work to Fenestra.

Aside from his duties with Fenestra, Rick actively participates as a Borland Delphi TeamB member. Through this association he met and hired Steven Schafer, Ph.D. (a TeamB emeritus) as Fenestra’s Chief Technology Officer in 1997.

Fenestra’s expertise in content and presentation development for clients and contractors is widely respected. Rick and Steve team with their senior developers to consult, build and deploy solutions with lasting value.

Creativity is encouraged - and a Cyclone pinball machine on the premises helps us problem solve and re-energize Sometimes we even share it with our clients.
